For 2019, the Board of Directors is proposing a dividend amounting to CHF 4.00 per share for approval at the Annual General Meeting. If the dividend proposal is approved by the shareholders, the dividend payment on the shares will amount to CHF 479 million (2018: CHF 718 million) resulting in a payout ratio of 60.0 per cent (2018: 93.3 per cent) of the earnings for the year attributable to the equity holders of the Company. Based on the share price at year-end 2019 the dividend yield on the Kuehne+Nagel share is 3.7 per cent (2018: 4.6 per cent).
